My Secret Letter

Looking at my plaid lamp,
licking away all these stamps.
Sending away my future,
Supposed to be more mature.

Pictures of field trips past
Thinking things would last
Transported back to those days
All the different ways...

Poking pencils and stolen items
Telling myself to always fight 'em
Days go by while I'm looking at your eyes
We're all Crazy over the same guys

The fatal "okay"
oh please just stay
Remembering the stares
Too many, "I'm the one who cares"

You Played the part
You're the king of hearts
Resting my heart on your letter
things that make me feel better
So that I can take in the daily news
of who is whose

Swimming with the regects and regrets
But I'm not here to be one
I'm here to say that I'm done.

It's not what you think
For Two parts of me will always be Pink
Eventually my friends shall join me
until than, they're the ones with the key
Trying hard to find the right lock
Or even a matching pair of Socks

So our words go unspoken
Those words that hold the token
The token to the Truth
Of those Braced Faces' tooth

While they are living their lives glad
I watch their friends be sad
because Our world is so fake
That's why I could've prevented his heartache

I wish I could go back to Jingle Bell
That time when He and I both fell
I miss him dearly
but he doesn't want me clearly

O well though because I am fixing things
And we'll see what all this brings

As I sit here staring at my plaid lamp
Thinking of where I sent those stamps
Looking at the pictures of Field trips past
Knowing our memories will always last

Letters soon will follow
no matter how much our hearts sorrow
Because all we are trying to do is find our place
But all we do is waist

But Maybe He will learn to love and live unfurlled.
Maybe She will learn what's Really important in the world.
Hopefully he will be able to forgive and try again.
Hopefully She will let God let her heart mend.


So as I lay my head and dream
I smile.
Because everything is alright, even if only for a while.
