Poem to My Mother...


Why is nothing I do right?
Why do you never tell me good night?
I need to hear you say
Everything will be ok
Why cant I be like you?
Why do you continue to beat me black and blue?
You never tell me that your proud.
You always treat me like such a shrowd.
Your words cut into me like a knife.
It makes me want to end this life.
But Ill never give in to.
You'll never winNo matter how bad it gets
Ill always be the one who never forgets!
You teach me the wrong way to survive!
I have to cut to feel alive.
You say you love me.
Then you try to kill me.
Im stuck wishing for things to be better.
I let all my feelings out in a letter.
Life is always the same each day.
I sit and listen to the insults you say.
Why cant you be like normal mothers?
Why cant you treat me like you do my brothers?
You treat me like you hate me so
I Just thought id let you know.
I will always try to be perfect.
Just so i can hear someone say Im worth it.....

You ARE worth it Mer!
And I can see why he cried.

That part hit me the most, and made me cry, and made me think of recent events.
